Snowbombing stag do
Snowbombing festival for a ski stag weekend is an epic choice. Party alongside the world's best DJs and dance acts, for the ultimate skiing stag party vibe.
Snowbombing has been around since 2000 when it was first held at a French ski resort. Since 2005, Mayrhofen in Austria has hosted the festival and has now grown into the go-to winter festival for those wanting to combine their love of snow with dance music and hedonistic fun. For a skiing & snowboarding stag weekend this is a perfect choice. Mayrhofen offers every type of accommodation to suit your travel life style, but don't expect it to be cheap during this event. The official festival describes itself as a festival filled with funky fresh air, epic blue skies, challenging black runs and all day white hot parties. We couldn't agree more! These Austrian Mountains are stunning, the perfect place to clear your head after a serious nights partying. If you’re looking for a special festival to mark your ski stag weekend with, this is the one to go for. A Snowbombing festival stag do might not be cheap, but its very original. If looking to do this on a budget, we wouldn't recommend Mayrhofen. For groups with mixed skiing abilities and want to save money, then Snow-Ibiza in Bulgaria is the way forward.

SNOW BOMBING FESTIVAL
International DJs, Secret parties, Themes
Mayrhofen is a very easy resort to get around – no ski buses are needed to move around. The vast percentage of onsite hotels we use are within a short 8-10 minute walk of the lifts.
In short, a Mayrhofen ski stag weekend has it all. Constant sunshine that will shake off your office tan and leave you glowing. Enjoy the 625km of piste runs; the snow-laden Hintertux Glacier; the world famous Vans board park & access to 10 resorts and 177 lifts to its name.
Mayrhofen’s main local skiing area is the Penken, linked to the edge of the resort by a recently updated gondola. The Horbergbahn is down the valley and linked by cable car up to the resort’s second ski area Ahorn. Both are largely covered by snow cannons if needed, so there is always good snow coverage.
LETS GO AUSTRIA
Do something different this year
Mayrhoen’s Ahorn area is popular with beginners as there are a number of easy pistes around the top and there is a chance to take in a well-earned breather and relax at the White Lounge. This is also where you can find the start of the famous 5 km long Ahorn Valley Run, which runs all the way down this mountain.
Intermediate skiers will enjoy Penken, which includes long trails down to boarding park of Finkenberg. More advanced skiers will spend most of their time on the Penken, with the notorious Devil’s Run on the linked Horberg mountain.
Après-ski
Skis off. Time for a beer !
The Party starts here
World class DJs flock here to snowboard and to rock the temporary sound systems. The festival has an unparalleled atmosphere, with booming make shift clubs, electric stages and one of dance acts. Party along side, friendly Europeans and share your love & passion for beer and snow! Headliners in the past have included: Fatboy Slim, Editors, Doves, The Enemy, 2manydj’s, De La Soul, Zane Lowe, Fabio & Grooverider, Grandmaster Flash and the Dirty Pretty Things. This festival takes its music seriously. The line up is always high quality, with commercial, underground and local acts on offering.
BEST IN SNOW
Nightlife in Mayrhofen
Mayrhofen is recognized as having the wildest après ski scenes in the Alps with an awesome range of bars and clubs. Popular places are: Sport Arena Disco, Ice-bar, Niki’s Schirmbar and the amusingly titled Scotland Yard. We can take you on tour of all of these places and more on our very own après ski pub-crawl that will provide one classic night of alcohol inspired shenanigans!
Speechless
For once Sean, I’m speechless. A lot of carnage went on the slopes but even more off the slopes during the peak festival hours. Snowbombing is class. We had a ball.

Everything went very well
Everything went very well. Can’t see how this weekend could have been improved; well apart from maybe cheaper beers on the slopes. We loved the line up and snow conditions were good considering it was late in the season this year!

This was my second time at Snow bombing
Best lads holiday I have ever had, Snowbombing was a gem, a classic ski stag weekend, which we’ll never forget. Cheers for making it so good and hassle free.
Ps – please pass my thanks to your crew in Austria, they were top people.

This was my second time at Snow bombing
This was my second time at Snow bombing and it keeps getting better. The night guides took us to the far corners of all the best places, we partied hard and did England proud. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your services, all the personnel I spoke to were top people.

Stag Mike and the seedy mechanics
I have travelled quite extensively over Europe and I would have to say that this was one of the best festivals I’ve done. Everyone was so friendly to us, even though we were in a big stag group; it was such a change to being in the UK. Can’t stress how good a time we all had, you organised a wicked ski stag holiday for us. Many thanks from: the ‘Stag Mike and the seedy mechanics.’

Did large it
Thanks again for all your help and spot on services. You delivered everything you said you would. I think in hind sight although we really did large it maybe a festival was pushing it a bit as it was very expensive in resort and I did get it in the ear from the lads; but you did tell me that in fairness. DJs line ups were brilliant, for lovers of deep house and dubstep, this was a treat.

Off the charts
Snow bombing was off the charts. A top notch ski festival. Perfect for a ski stag holiday. I would probably say it suits smaller groups though as we were 25 lads and we all ended up in different places we hardly saw each other. It is pricey but if you are into music/Djs, this is a must-do event.

Quality winter festival
Snow bombing is a quality winter festival. Acts were great and atmosphere is always wild. I really rated it. Probably it was on the pricey side though so I cant give it a 5 star review but all your services were spot on; transfers, ski reps, ski equipment, passes etc… many thanks!

Overall we had a great ski weekend
We had a real mixture of people on the trip, ages 22 – 60 , & overall we had a great ski weekend. We did our own thing on Friday. Saturdays skiing was great, then live events followed by more clubbing in the evenings rounded it all off nicely. The young guns loved it especially. I think really it was more suited to the younger lads but hey ho still everyone was smiling and we had good times.
