Do i need to discuss my health or behavioural challenges?
The group leader should not book with our ski stag company without 100% communicating their own or any of their members: health, fitness and behavioural issues, which could impact their ability to take part in any given activity.
Understanding our clients challenges or disabilities, is a process for our company to create safety for them. It is not a process for discrimination.
If you do not address the health and fitness accurately prior to booking, the decision whether you or any of your members can or cannot participate on an activity will be decided by our operations manager or our local staff.

Do i need to be fit ?
Skiing & snowboarding require a moderate level of fitness. Always consult your doctor before booking this type of holiday.

Can i book on, with a nut allergy?
If you book onto one of our ski holidays, please note that we cannot guarantee a 100% nut/allergy free kitchen at the hotel, where food is included in your itinerary.

Can a Vegan or Gluten Free diet be catered for?
For guests that require Vegan or Gluten Free diets its important you contact our offices prior to booking the ski trip, to meet expectations. For any guests that have intolerance’s or allergies to food or ingredients please contact our offices prior to booking. Vegan & Gluten diets might find there is a repetition in menus and dishes created. Please book with the appropriate expectations.

Can I take my own ski equipment?
Yes, of course. But if its a ski stag weekend (2/3 nights stay) is it worth the extra hold costs?! Please let our stag team know at the time of your ski stag weekend booking if you wish to take your own ski or snowboard equipment with you.

Do I need insurance ?
Yes. Having the right travel & winter activity insurance is extremely important, especially when enjoying adventure sports. It is part of our terms and conditions, that you book insurance for this ski stag do.

Are ski weekends suitable for beginners?
Ski weekends and short breaks are great introductions to skiing and snowboarding! Slovenia and Bulgaria are favourites with beginners, and offer great value for money tuition, lift passes and the après-ski party scene. Snowboarding & ski stag weekends with us are suitable for all levels of skier. When booking let us know if you are a beginner and we will assist you in tailoring your trip accordingly.

How should i prepare for your trip ?
Prior to your travel dates, we will send you documentation to help you plan & prepare. Your UK manager will always be on hand to answer your questions.

Can I pre-book ski / snowboard lessons?
We can arrange ski stag lessons in a selection of resorts. We can also offer advice and information on tuition in all resorts, as well as contact numbers and email addresses for the major ski schools throughout Europe. We highly recommend Slovenia & Bulgaria for stag partys that are begineers, as lessons are half the price of France & Italy.

What ski clothing should I take?
It’s important to note that in most winter ski resorts it is not possible to hire the ski clothes.

Where can I do night skiing for stag weekend?
Night skiing can be booked for a ski stag weekend in Slovenia and Bulgaria. In Slovenia, you can night ski in Lake Bled and in Bulgaria, night skiing is available from 6pm in Borovets. You’ll need specific ski passes for the night skiing and be prepared for cold temperatures and Icey slopes.

Can I ski in April for a stag do?
Skiing in April in Europe is not good. The best of the snow is beginning to melt and you’ll need to choose a ski terrain with a glacier high up. We wouldn’t recommend April for skiing in Europe for a stag do.

Top tips for doing ski stag do?
We have lots of tips for organising a ski stag do. Bestmen should plan early, so they can get the cheapest flights. There is no point trying to book services individually. Ultimately, why would you want to add a lot pressure to your shoulders for no reason. Don’t think for a minute, that one of the guys at the wedding is going to personally thank you for shaving off some money for the ski stag do. The only thing people remember, is whether they had a good time or not. Book with the professionals and let the good times roll.

Is fancy dress allowed on a ski slope?
Fancy dress is allowed on the ski slopes. However, we warn people to use water proof material for their ski outfits or risk hyperthermia. Weather can change drastically in a resort and ski lifts have been known to grind to a holt. So be very mindful before putting the groom in a skimpy thong.

What do I need to take on a skiing stag holiday?
For any type of ski trip you’ll need to book insurance. You can hire the equipment, so just bring your ski clothes: goggles, gloves, trousers, jacket, helmet or hat, sun shades, sun cream, lip balm. Remember passport, local cash and woolly hat. Wear boots or shoes with good grip around the resort.

The cheapest ski resort for a stag weekend is Borovets in Bulgaria. Also Slovenia is another affordable ski destination, with great snow and lively après ski nightlife.

Is snowbombing a good option for a stag do?
Yes and No. Snowbombing is expensive in comparison to a normal stag party abroad. You’ll need to pay for hotels, transfers, accommodation and festival tickets. We’ve found that the stag party doesn’t stick together and the focus doesn’t fall on the groom, but much more on the music. Overall we are still undecided if Snow Bombing is right for a stag weekend.

What is the snow like in December in Bulgaria ?
December skiing can be hit and miss in Europe and Bulgaria is of no exception. The best time to ski in Bulgaria is between Jan and March. The cheapest weeks are Mid Jan and the month of March.

The best place for a ski stag weekend is in Bulgaria for many reasons. Our team of skiing experts understand exactly what bestmen want to deliver for their best friends. Bulgaria enjoys fantastic annual snowfall, has three popular ski resorts and all within very quick transfer times from Sofia airport. Skiing and learning to ski is half the cost in Bulgaria when compared to France and Austria. So, for a ski stag holiday Bulgaria is without a doubt the cheapest option. Beer is inexpensive, which is perfect for a bachelor party in Bulgaria and nightlife is around the clock. In fact Borovets is known for its lively atmosphere, strip clubs and atmospheric party bars, making it the best choice for a ski stag destination in Europe.

No. Our clients control their own flights. Our groups prefer to have control over their own flight seats, with online check-in, phone apps, choosing leg room etc

Where is the best ski resort in Europe for a stag?
The best ski resorts in Europe for a stag do are; Borovets, Ljubljana, Sofia, Les Deux Alps, Chamonix, Pas de la Casa, Bansko, Ischgl, Saalbach, Tignes, Sauze d’Oulx. These are all tried and tested ski destinations offering great skiing and lively après nightlife. For stags wanting a more upmarket experience and prepared to pay the higher beer prices, then head to: Val d’Isere, Verbier, St Anton and Mayrhofen.

Can you organise transfers to/from the Airport?
Yes. We can arrange all your transportation needs for small or large group sizes. Our drivers will always meet you with a greeting card and drive you safely to your destination. Transfers can be arranged in various styles ranging from: mini buses, stretched limo’s, classical cars and large coaches.

Will the hotel be of the requested standard?
We take great pride in our strong relationships with our hotel partners and in their facilities. We inspect & evaluate all the hotels and only offer the best. Our prices are low because of our good working relationships and it certainly doesn’t suggest that what we offer is sub standard either .

What is the best hotel in Borovets?
The best hotel in Borovets is not a simple question. There isn’t one perfect hotel in this popular Bulgarian resort. For a luxurious stay, try the Festa Winter Palace. For the best location and most facilities, use the Hotel Samokov. For the best views of the slopes, try the Rila hotel. For a smaller boutique feel The Lodge hotel is a good choice.

Borovets ski resort is perfect for stag and hen parties, looking to ski and party. Apart from skiing and snowboarding, there are other stag activities that can be booked in Borovets. Available to pre-book are: bowling, snowmobiles, snow quads, tubing, sledging, air rifle shooting, spa & massage, lap dancing shows, pub crawls, hammer & nail, cigar and whisky tastings.

What is the best bar in Borovets?
Borovets is a ski resort in Bulgaria, popular for the abundance of drinking options. Great for stag do’s, as a beer in the local strip clubs are the same price as the pub next door. This makes for some very wild nights out, regardless if it’s the grooms last nights of freedom or the annual boys ski trip. There are many great boozers to try, but for the staff at ‘Ski Stag Weekends’ we believe the best bar in Borovets is BJs bar, right in the middle of the resort.

What is the name of the best club in Borovets?
Nightclubs come and go in Borovets, either changing names or changing hands. However there is one nightclub that is more like the towns institute of goodwill to all men (and women). This venue has more 2-4-1 offers than Aldi and is buzzing 7 days a week during the winter season. Buzz Bar is the best club in Borovets, open till 6am and free entry.

Can I use my credit card in Borovets?
Credit cards are widely accepted in Borovets, throughout bars, supermarkets and even the lap dancing clubs. Personally, we recommend to our ski stag parties to use the ATM machines and use cash. That way you won’t lose your cards in the snow, or rack up a stupid bar bill when under the influence.

In Borovets ski resort what is the best strip club called?
Pigalle is the best strip club in Borovets. It’s the most mentioned by our returning groups in their reviews. The wood cabin is a quirky place for a lap dance and the stag do’s find this very entertaining. According to our local staff based in the resort, they would argue that Boni is the best strip club for lap dancing in Borovets. At Boni’s bar stag parties will get discounts and the beer is very well priced.

Best place for a steak in Borovets?
It’s not uncommon for us to hear our clients say they ate well during their ski holiday. The quality of food in Bulgaria is exceptional, more than often organic and 30% cheaper than the England. The best place for a steak in Borovets can be found at Victoria The Bear, opposite the Rila Hotel. Make sure you book in advance. Nowhere else competes if you want steak in Borovets or nearby Samokov.

Is there a karaoke bar in Borovets?
If you are ready to drop the mic and rock out your go-to Michael Bublé, then try Borovets best Karaoke at Black Tiger. It’s an all day and late night venue, serving up cheap drinks, strong shots and power pop. The food isn’t bad, but most of the singing you’ll hear is.
